Here is the Japanese version of OPI DS Divine. This polish is totally different from the one that has been released to the rest of the world under the same name. This is a holographic purplish pink that has large specks of silver glitter in it whereas the other version is a holographic dark pink. My sister bought this beauuuty for me on our recent trip to Tokyo! She's the BEST SISTER EVER!<3(I hope you'll see this L.L! LOL! = D)
Below is a bottle comparison picture of the two versions of OPI DS Divine.
I used four coats in the pictures as the polish is somewhat sheer and patchy. I will be using it to layer on top of other colours in the future or just simply use it for nail art. :D The closest polish I have in my collection is China Glaze How About A Tumble. However, it is a tad bit pinker than Divine and the specks of glitter are relatively smaller in size as well.
Some pictures and swatches of Divine and How About a Tumble...
Wow! They are so different! But, it looks very pretty on you! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Olivia! :D
ReplyDeleteYah, they're totally different colours! I wonder why they had to release two versions and not sell the other one here! So not fair! Lol!
I love both versions. I love the holos. The China Glaze version looks really similar. That makes me feel better since I can't get it. You really take such beautiful, clear photos. Thank you for that.
ReplyDeleteI love holographics too! It's so nice that How about a tumble is so similar to Divine, they look almost the same under the sun! Thanks for your lovely comment Lucy!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for this, girly! Nice photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks for dropping by Jen! You have really pretty photos too! :D
ReplyDeleteOh, I think I prefer the general version of OPI DS Divine ^^
