From left to right: Chanel Particulière, OPI Over the Taupe, Sally Hansen Commander in Chic, Rimmel Steel Grey
I would say OPI Over the Taupe is the closest colour to Particulière in this swatch. Even though Commander in Chic and Steel Grey are widely known as near dupes, they are slightly cooler in tone and do not apply as well as the other two.
Chanel Particulière was first introduced in the Les Contrastes des Chanel Collection in Spring 2010 and is now a part of their permanent nail polish line due to its immense popularity.
Bottles are in the same order as swatches.
Thanks for visitng! :D

ReplyDeleteI am a pretty new follower, and just love how your photos really show the colors 'on' nails...so very helpful!
ReplyDeleteI got this chanel colour for christmas, and love it!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love those comparisons! I have Over The Taupe, so glad to know it mimics a high priced version.
ReplyDeleteGosh that's a gorgeous shade. Looks like it'll have to be a dupe for me... Chanel bottles are priced at $45 in Australia. Not so cheap. Have to be sure you love the shade first! :) I love your nails they are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I have 2 of the 3 "near dupes", so i am happy :)
ReplyDeleteLove them all <3
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm also from Vancouver and was wondering if you could tell me where you purchased your bottle?
